Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."

i first heard this quote by Donald Rumsfeld as part of a cabaret show I did a couple of months ago, and now the Plain English Campaign have awarded him the "Foot in Mouth" award for it. Other Categories of Award are: Plain English (Open); Inside Write(For Internal Govt. Documents); Media(Radio/TV & newspapers); Golden Bulls(for gobbledygook) and the Plain English Web Award. On of my personal favourites is:
