So its the summer and works ramping up towards the busy September period, and what do I go and do...sign up for a show at the start of October...well it will keep me out of trouble I guess. It should also push forward the development of Glasgow Theatre Underground.

This project (between myself and Bruce Downie) has been going on for about 9 months now (the earliest post at the minute is November 3rd 2004), and has been an experiment in running a very specifically aimed portal site. And we can say that a number of people have received work via postings on GTU (guys we'd like a cut!).

Theatre Underground

Well I've been running Glasgow Theatre Underground for a couple of months now, and the site is growing steadily. But I've been looking for ways of expanding, after the Glasgow theatre world is fairly small, and the stuff we're putting up is mainly of local interest.

So I'm going to launch the TheatreUnderground.co.uk network. This will be a network of community theatre sites which, like GTU, accept stories and news from the members of the community and provide an up to date portal on the activities in the community.

GTU will be eventually move to a new address: glasgow.theatreunderground.co.uk and we hope to be able to have up and running for August TheFestival.theatreunderground.co.uk
